Indonesia has long been known for its abundant and highly valuable natural resources—so much so that developed countries came to exploit these resources under the guise of colonization.
Even after Indonesia gained independence from colonial rule, a vast amount of these natural resources remain underutilized and have not been optimally managed for the benefit of the nation.
Compared to developed countries, Indonesia lags behind in managing its natural resources due to the underdevelopment of supply chains—from the availability of raw materials, processing technology, and marketing, to fulfilling the needs and benefits for end users.
The weakest link in this supply chain development is the lack of connection between the needs of prospective consumers and the availability of goods. In other words, potential consumers are unaware that certain raw materials can be processed into useful products, while the owners of these materials do not realize that their resources can be transformed into marketable and valuable products.
Therefore, there is a need for a bridge that connects potential consumers with potential producers—parties who understand the value and utility of available resources that can be used as raw materials for useful products.
Based on this vision, and driven by a sense of duty to contribute to national progress, PT Traser Natural Resources (“Traser”) was founded, with a core focus in the sectors of Trading and Services in natural resource management.
In the trading sector, Traser does not merely buy and sell products for profit; it also mentors prospective suppliers to develop useful and value-added products for buyers and consumers.
In the service sector, Traser provides management and production engineering consultancy and also supplies the necessary facilities and infrastructure for the production process through various schemes such as partnerships, buy-sell agreements, rentals, or other arrangements.
To realize the founding vision of PT Traser Natural Resources (“Traser”), in addition to directly running its own trading and service operations, Traser has also established subsidiaries as Strategic Business Units (SBUs) dedicated to natural resource management.
